HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT GRANT: Letter of Intent due June 23rd
Historic Development Grants – This one is for owners of commercial properties on the National Register of Historic Places in TN Main Street Districts (and several other criteria). We’ve already done the application webinar on this one and you can find it here: https://www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/ecd/documents/grants-management/HDGP%20LOI%20Webinar%20HOLD-20230518_123211-Meeting%20Recording(Virtual).mp4
And here is the TN ECD web page with all the info on Historic Development Grants:https://www.tn.gov/ecd/rural-development/historic-development-grant-program.html
Since Historic Development Grants go directly to property owners, you are probably not filling out that application, but many of you are assisting downtown property owners with their questions (thank you). Downtown Improvement Grants can come from Main Streets or City Governments, and are frequently administered by development districts. They are intended to benefit multiple commercial facades and can provide various downtown amenities.
