Read Across Fayetteville

March is National Reading Month, a celebration that encourages reading for all ages and promotes reading as a key feature for learning, social, and professional development.

Did you know our local chapter of Imagination Library Lincoln County Tennesssee purchases books for over 1,300 children in Lincoln County every month? To bring awareness to this month and raise money to pay for those books, we’ll be posting facts about Dr. Seuss and pages from the book What I Like About Me! at shops around the square! This fun-loving book shows kids that, in a world where fitting in is the norm, being different makes us special. Join us March 2nd to kickoff the month! The trail will start at Sissy's Antiques and Interiors and end at The Book Inn!We’ll post a guide of the stops the week before and the businesses that will have a collection jar for our local Imagination Library! If you can’t make it that day, don’t sweat it! The jars will be out, and the pages will be up all month! This is a perfect activity to get those kiddos to the square during Spring Break!
